GOVERNANCE

The Structure

1. The Directors

At the apex of the governance structure, the Directors oversee strategic direction but do not engage directly in day-to-day operational decisions. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, appointed by the Directors, serves as the liaison between the Board of Trustees and the Directors on operational matters. Consequently, the Chairman reports to the Directors, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and operational activities.

2. Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees serves as the highest decision-making body for the EB Foundation, overseeing its strategic direction, policies, and key decisions. Trustees are individuals appointed to oversee the governance and operations of EBF. They bring diverse expertise, perspectives, and networks to contribute to the foundation's success.

3. Chairman of the Board

The role of Chairman of the Board entails leadership responsibilities such as chairing board meetings, fostering clear communication among trustees, and executing the strategic direction of the Foundation. The appointment of the Chairman of the Board is made by the Foundation's Directors, and the Chairman reports directly to them.
